Matty's BIG Day:   HELP! -

There could be several issues that might prevent you from viewing Matty's BIG Day videos.

1) You don't have Quicktime installed - unlikely.
2) Your internet connection isn't fast enough - bummer.
3) You need a better computer - can't help you there.

I will hopefully put the videos onto a DVD/CD soon, but Matty has really screwed up my schedule, so my time is somewhat limited for the near future. What I've decided in the interim is to use the Quicktime video format and upload the files to the web. Quicktime should already be installed one way or another on everyone's computer and should be ready to go. If not, or you want to do the FREE upgrade (Matty would like that) visit Apple Quicktime.

This is streaming video and requires a fast web connection and a reasonably good computer to view it uninterrupted. If your internet connection is too slow to adequately download and view them immediately, as intended, your next best alternative other than heading the the nearest library terminal, is to simply download & save the files one at a time and play them off your hard drive. This should work. After the files have all finished downloading to your computer simply double click on each file in order.

If you are computer illiterate, I'll try to help, email me and we'll figure it out. Generally you have to right click on the files below and simply choose 'Save file as' or 'Save target source as' and specify where on your hard drive to save it. Matty would probably have had trouble with this, but you should do fine.

NOTE: Even if the movies stream and play off the web properly, if you plan on watching the videos numerous times, PLEASE DOWNLOAD THEM TO YOUR HARD DRIVE ANYWAY and then watch them from there. I'm going to get killed on bandwidth overage charges because of the size of the files. Matty might think it amusing, but I'm really going to take a hit.

If there are any other significant defects let me know. If all else fails, I'll put you on the DVD/CD mailing list.
